All communication between course participants takes place in the Learning Center Workspace. This Workspace is robust, scalable, and secure, and can be customized by the user.
Navigation is easy, using the navigation bar.
Key features include
Contributions: Internal or external documents stored in user defined folders. Folders are like directories on your personal computer.
Discussion groups: similar to a series of related e-mail exchanges, but which may include the entire community member base.
Lists: simple databases that have user-defined structures and can be populated by any community member. Typical uses for lists include, contact lists, task lists, recommended websites, books, etc.
Other tools such as searchable calendars, and real-time chat can be added as needed.
