The Core: Crystal Clear Thinking

What is a thought?

How do we think?

Is thinking an individual or collective process?

What constitutes original thinking?

Does a widely accepted school of thought still involve thinking?

Since the beginning of the 20th century the 'psychology of thinking' has occupied the minds of researchers in philosophy, psychology, education and neurology. The questions remain, the answers are partial. The closing lines of a lengthy treatise on the psychology of thinking in the Encyclopedia Britannica state:

"The psychology of thinking then, must be presented not as a   record of achievement, but as a report of progress, or at least   of persistent endeavor."

In the flow of this persistent endeavor we have adopted the fairly recent discoveries in neurological and cognitive development research as the basis for our approaches to learning. We are interested in assisting the realization of potential capabilities in an individual. Therefore we embrace thinking in the widest context possible, including physiological, psychological, genetic and social determinants.

Electronic Quartz Crystals, in their pure form, are the perfect metaphor for our quest of understanding thought and thinking:

they are the working tools in modern day electronics - the history of their use stimulates our imagination - they have the ability to aid communication between mind and subconscious, i.e. activate full human potential - their qualities match the workings of the human mind to an extent that let's Frank Dorland say:

"A human being is a living, walking liquid crystal of amazing potential."

Crystal-clear thinking will lead to the actual realization of this potential.
